Ubuntu installation In AWS

You get into the AWS console and launch the Instance

Go to Ubuntu

Use for now http, ssh and https

Launch it

Name it

Check at the end of the right  side

Click on "connect" Ubuntu is going to be your username and pay attention to this..

You are going to use Ubuntu as your username later and the hostname is in red in Putty

Please download Putty

Download Putty and Puttygern.exe.

You are going to load it to the key you already had already downloaded

Save it in a separate folder to have them organized

Check the information on connect your instance...(in green and red)

Open your putty: You are going to need from there

1. the hostname,, 
2. username 
3. authentication file

You are going to connect the key you already have saved.

Create a Linux saved session, save it and open it

You are supposed to get this:

Congratulations..You have your new Ubuntu server working!
